      Over 300 CEOs and colleagues attended more than 80 in-person meetings with members of Congress. Immediately after Representative Kevin McCarthy and Senator Debbie Stabenow attended; Representative Rosa DeLauro introduced the Fresh Produce Procurement Reform Act. Meetings by Chef Marti helped the Build Back Better framework in the Biden Administration with input from Senators Manchin and Sinema so the framework can provide resources to farmers, ranchers, and forestland owners, supporting their efforts to reduce emissions. At its peak, the increased investments in climate-smart agriculture alone could reach roughly 130 million cropland acres per year, representing as many as 240,000 farms. Farmers, ranchers, and forestland owners have long demonstrated leadership in environmental stewardship with strategies that provide benefits for the farm, the environment, and the public. These investments will help meet the demand from the farming community for conservation support and enable producers to realize the full potential of climate benefits from agriculture.

      Which President enjoyed cold catsup on his lumpy cottage cheese? How come President Lincoln spent more time at another tavern eating - than the one he owned? Is it true the first lady was screaming at the top of her lungs at Camp David with Secret Service flooding the house bearing machine guns and rocket launchers? Which President punched a waiter in the face at the White House and broke his jaw? Is it true the Chefs have burned food and ruined it by accident and then what do you do? Why did President Washington send the White House Chef slave, Hercules, away every couple of months? Why would President Jefferson rip-off and then hide rice sewn into the lining of his coat while in Italy (violating international law) and destroying a top countries market? Which President was a real Chef and loved cooking - even BBQing on the White House roof?


      The Walter Scheib, III Library

      Our library at the museum is dedicated to former White House Chef, Walter Scheib, III.  We appeared with him on stage cooking at the White House for many US state dinners and on stage with the National Archives and Clinton Foundation.


      Walter's written letter of recommendation joins those of the Carter's, Bush's, Clinton's, Ford's, Obama's, Trump's, and Reagan's: "During the many years that Marti was a manager of Camp David we had little to worry about!  Marti took care of things flawlessly for some of the world's most well-known personalities.  He lovingly cared for sixteen private homes, a hotel for the United States Secret Service, lodging for thousands of others, and five kitchens all under my purview.  Marti superbly executed daily routines with never a problem, never a worry, and never a single need for me to have to come and visit Camp David.


      With Marti as a Manager of the world's most beautiful resort, he also interfaced and worked with the Smithsonian and Library of Congress on all types of unique artifacts, art, and holdings.  From conservation to preservation, again, Marti was well known for his excellence of work, fidelity, and leadership.  He is a world-class manager and team builder."
