"The agency that doesn't have to charge a fee for placing a person and brings in ten candidates from ten different sources. We are on YOUR side. We are not focused on any commission of 20% of first years wages. We DO NOT charge commissions!!!”
Stormy Mongiello, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP
Training, security, household management, and placing staff worldwide with superior Presidential records of service and Top Secret clearances. #1 in placement since 1879 when our building was built. Temporary help on-site & advisement a specialty. Telephone or video counsel a specialty for owners & managers.
American Board of Licensed Hoteliers and Restaurateurs. Our 5401st international student graduated from The Intercontinental Academy of Household, Hotel & Resort Management (IAHHRM).
Our very own Director of Education, Allan Miller, of Laurel Placement and The Intercontinental Academy of Household, Hotel, and Estate Management (IAHHRM) was featured in Fortune Magazine for his expert views and advice. Mr. Miller has been instructing the butlers, chefs, estate & household managers of The White House, Camp David Resort & Retreat Conference Center, Air Force One, The Greenbriar, Royal households, and Forbes 400 list for 25 years. See him also on CNN affiliate 33.
Laurel Placement is a dba of Mongiello Holdings, LLC The Inn of the Patriots, LLC - an AAA Diamond-Ranked Inn and mansion as seen on CNN, FOX, PBS, ABC, NBC, CBS, and NHK Tokyo to almost three billion viewers worldwide - as well as the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Australian, New Yorker, and Times of London. We also teach via our Ambassador in Training (AIT) program for estates and organizations.
We've been featured in just over 160 newspapers and magazines including the New Yorker and FOOD TV Network.
"We are the only estate management academy and placement agency, worldwide, that also validates itself daily by running a full-sized mansion. Additionally, we require thousands of reviews by our VIP guests to be placed online about our instruction, cleaning, security, service, and management. We put our household and estate management under a spotlight for everyone to see. And we require daily reviews of such. All others are only interested in getting the money. They are not a real agency. Take a real look at who is on our board."
Mr. Antwain Thomas - Chief Development Officer (CDO), Intelligence Expert, Signals Expert.
The butler did it. Yes, he did, the Pope himself recently found this out the wrong way. If you are an owner, the friend of an owner, GM, HR Director or executive assistant and recently was tasked with finding a new butler, housekeeper, chef, resort GM, sales manager, nanny, security, driver, maintenance director, or household manager; then you'll want to read this.
We are the only agency on earth that has a complete school in our mansion teaching daily and holding classes 50 weeks per year. We place experts into the world's most elegant homes, clubs, and resorts and have the excellence of search and mitigation of all factors. The last thing you need right now is to hire wrong and to work with a sketchy agency. Or to hire someone who has a hidden record. The background checks that they do are minimal. You do not want to hire someone wrong and pay them under the table!
Marti Mongiello, MBA, MA, MCFE - has authored nine books to date and literally WROTE THE BOOK on estate and resort management. Given high reviews across the world, this is one of the primary sources for required books in butler curriculums and homes.
Do you say you paid $2k for a background investigation? What did they do? We advise you to be warned about agencies that 'pop at the top" of a Bing or Google search. Many have only been in business for a few years, or a few months or less. They buy their way to the very top of the charts, build great websites with Google Ad Words, and then place stock photography onto the site of butlers, glistening champagne flutes and lies.
Suddenly, they have become a look-alike, authorized placement agency, and they will sock you with fees from 10% to 30% of the first year's salary. Some accurately place people just to instigate lawsuits upon the rich by getting hurt, falling, and slipping (a plant). Then there's another $1.2 million settlement.
When the person you hire fizzles and fails, YES, that agency keeps your cash. YES, you are left to deal with this all over again, and YES, you may be involved in a massive lawsuit. Yes, you have an ever-revolving door of hiring, firing, chaos for your home, and getting ripped off!!!
The only way to avoid having the butler selling the Pope's secrets (or yours), security team members drinking to excess (or other bad behavior like what happened when Lady Di was killed) is to go beyond the norm and conduct legal psychometric and ability testing, regular-legal polygraph for security positions, permissible voice stress analysis, regular drug testing via hair collection analysis and urinalysis, forensic CPA accounting, legal Lexis-Nexis investigation with specialized detective analysis going to each COUNTY courthouse of the previous residence (county records are not online typically) and legal paperwork being in place subject to an offer letter and actual hiring. Your HR Director and an attorney will work with us.
Our research with numerous collaborating American Psychological Association (APA) doctors has proven, worldwide that the lesser effective ways to hire people are through 1.resumes, 2. interviews, 3. investigation alone, 4. on the job tryouts and, 5. detailed reference checks. If you were considering using these methods for your private estate, club or resort, finances, life safety, guests at the hotel or family, we would encourage you to consider employing us instead.

Our consultation rate is always 365 USD per hour on the phone or video calls. We accept all major credit cards and do not charge an additional fee for credit card use. We also field random calls worldwide with our Palm Beach, DC, Charlotte, Macau, and Paris teams when owners have a private question 24/7. Some call in on an unidentifiable line and do not want to reveal who they are – they want to ask a question about what to do - or talk through a situation and pay with an Executive Assistant's credit card and name. That's perfectly fine.
We are available to you and can also come onsite to work for several weeks. When we work onsite, we have a lower billable rate of USD 16,007 per week - not including any cost of provided lodging, conveyance, and per diem, which will be provided by the client. Our single-day rate is at the 365 USD per hour rate and includes the time to fly there and back. Once we arrive, we may deem that additional personnel are suggested and can discuss that and the associated costs – or use contractors in the area to complete safety, security, and defensive plans and programs. In some cases, contractors may not be able to be used depending on safety and security needs – all of which will be discussed.
Half payment down via contract agreement is always required via wire transfer. IBAN, BIC, SWIFT are fine, but we realize not all banks belong to SWIFT. We cannot tender any initial payment of half down via credit card, PayPal, BitCoin, or another service. We look forward to working with you and helping to provide the peace of mind in tranquility you deserve to enjoy.
